Medical University of Silesia (WNMZ ŚUM) offers outstanding education and research in the medical field. The Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice brings with it a warm, welcoming environment, and has become a second home for us students, fostering our growth. It was established way back in 1948.

Document Requirements for MU Silesia Admission

Applying to the Medical University of Silesia (MU Silesia) involves submitting specific documents to the Admission Committee. Submit necessary documents including high school diploma, application form, ID, English proficiency certificate, photos, and fee receipt among others. All documents should be in English or translated into English. Send the application form with original or notarised copies of all required documents to MU Silesia before October 2, 2025.

MU Silesia Entrance Exam

You'll take an entrance exam covering biology (mandatory) and either chemistry or physics (only if your secondary school-leaving certificate isn't from the EU, OECD, EFTA, European Economic Area parties, or the Swiss Confederation). The exam is remote via MS Teams. After the exam, you are ranked and listed on the SUM University website. High ranking is crucial for admission. More info here .
